India’s Legislative Agenda During the 2023 Parliament Monsoon Session
In this article, we list the various bills that are expected to be tabled in the Monsoon Session of the Indian Parliament, to be held between July 20, 2023 to August 11, 2023.
The Monsoon Session of the Indian Parliament commenced on Friday, July 20, and is expected to run for 23 days with 17 sittings. Initially starting in the old building, the session is scheduled to conclude on August 11 in the new parliament building, which was inaugurated on May 28, 2023.
During this session, the central government aims to present and deliberate on seven Bills for approval and introduce 21 new draft legislations, which includes significant bills like the Digital Personal Data Protection Bill and Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (Amendment) Bill.
